Mas Irene is created by Parés Baltà from two variétéss: Merlot and Cabernet Franc from different wineries. All the winemaking is done separately to get the best of each variety. Aged for 13 month in French oak barrels of Allier rookie. Tasting notes: Intense and deep crimson color, almost black. Thick. Slow tear that covers the glass. But Irene is characterized by great intensity and complexity of its aromas. Many ripe red fruit mixed with good toasted wood. At the opening of mineral aromas, vanilla, spices and milk on a background plant appear. With soyeusse step, smooth and very tasty fruit that shows the handset with spices and grilled. Tannins. Great structure. Aftertaste long and pleasant with a mineral background. A complex and elegant round wine to be enjoyed slowly. Accompaniments: Pasta with meat sauce, Rice with meat, Sausages, Roasted lamb, Grilled red meats, Stews, stew, mushrooms, semi-mature cheese. Remaining Sugar: 0,5g/l.
